On September 26th 2017, “CESI TIANJIN”, the fourth liquefied natural gas (“LNG”) vessel of Sinopec Kantons’ APLNG Project, was delivered, further strengthening the company’s LNG transport business. This is a 174,000-cubic-meter LNG vessel, which was built by Hudong-Zhonghua Shipyard, and was invested by a joint venture of Kantons International Investment (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sinopec Kantons), China Cosco Shipping and MOL.
“CESI TIANJIN” is the fourth of the six LNG vessels of APLNG Project constructed by Hudong-Zhonghua Shipyard. “CESI TIANJIN” will be under a long-termcharter with Sinopec after delivery, mainly shuttling between Australia and the ports in China such as Qingdao, Beihai and Tianjin to transport LNG imported by Sinopec from Australia.
