On October 24, 2024, the VLCC pipeline connection project of Fujairah Oil Terminal FZC (FoT), a joint venture company of Sinopec Kantons, has been officially completed.

VLCC pipeline connection project mainly includes the construction of 4 pipelines connecting to the VLCC terminal area (of which 2 of them are 40-inch black oil pipelines), and 4 crude oil transmission pumps with a pumping velocity of 4,000 tons/hour. After the completion of the project, FoT would become the only company in Fujairah Port area that is directly connected to the 300,000-ton VLCC terminal and the 200,000-ton terminal at the same time. Also, the project enable FoT to become the storage company in the Middle East with the largest crude oil loading capacity, and can provide its customers with storage operation services of better quality and higher efficiency.
