Sinopec Kantons announced that its ESG rating by a global index company Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI Inc.) has been upgraded to “BBB”. The Company has been upgraded for three consecutive years.

This recognition acknowledges SinopecKantons’ outstanding performance in ESG practices, especially for its industry-leading position in carbon emission management, biodiversity, and land use aspects. At the same time, it was reflecting the capital market's high recognition of Sinopec Kanton’s adherence to the corporate mission of green and low-carbon development, commitment to social responsibilities, and promotion of long-term sustainable development values.
